I love your golden locks and I just can't bring myself to take you to the hairdresser to cut them off! I had to snip some off your fringe as it was really getting too long, but I think I will leave the rest of it to grow a little longer.

It's been raining so much on and off for the last few weeks and today was finally a dry day. So we went for a big play at the playground.

Today your Opapi is going back home to Switzerland. We kept busy the whole day and I was going through all the photos we had taken in the last months, so I could burn some DVDs he could take with him. There were so many photos, since we started this project!

You will just have to grow a little bit more and when your feet reach the floor, you will be able to use your new bike. Opapi brought it over from Switzerland and put it all together today so you could have a first ride.

Australia Day ended up being a nice day without any rain. We decided to go to the Daisy Hill Koala Centre and you both enjoyed the outing very much.

We played in the park for a little while and had a picnic, before we went to have a look at the Koalas.

All of a sudden it was very quiet this morning and I was wondering what are you up to now...?

I looked everywhere and couldn't find you and then realised the toilette door was open... and that's where I found you!  You had taken your nappy off and sat on your potty with a pocket dictionary, you had picked out of the book shelf ;-)

I disappeared very, very quietly to fetch my camera and take this photo and you were still happily flicking through the dictionary (notice the wrong way around ;-) when I came back.

Hot day spent in the water

We had a lovely family get together today and you spent most day in the swimming pool and the water slide. You had heaps of fun and we are hoping for some more sunny days this summer!

It's been a little while that we have been in a pool and you were very, very hesitant to start off with. In the safety of your Opapi's arms you slowly gained more and more confidence and at the end you loved being in the water.

Jana is back!

Oh what a welcome Jana received today, it was an absolute delight!

You both squealed and jumped up and down when Jana walked in the door, it was pretty incredible.  I don't think I ever had a welcome like that!

You both absolutely ♡ ♡ ♡ Jana! She started looking after Timmy when he was about 9 months young and helped with Yannick from when he was just born.

Thank you Jana for being such a good friend and second mummy to our boys :-)

You both had a huge sleep at lunch time and there was just no way to get you to bed at the normal time. It was already after 9:00pm that night, but at least you were not running amok, but quietly watching a DVD.

The last 2.5 months have been wonderful with your grandpa visiting from Switzerland. 

"Opapi" has just been so great with my little boys and we are going to miss him heaps when he goes back home in 9 days...

There is no way past the car in the shopping centre anymore. You both absolutely love having a ride on there and it's hard to get you away from it. And you don't know about the $2 yet, that would make it move...! Will keep that a secret for a little bit longer ;-)
