Our neighbours gave us this super fast race track a while ago and you are definitely old enough to play with this now. Once we had worked out the perfect angle there was no stopping you :-)

Today we had a really good day, but when I started cooking dinner Yannick was just an unhappy little chap. Nothing seemed to make things better and my last resort was to take out the old sling, we hadn't used for a long time. I put you in there and straight away you calmed and after 5 mins, a bit of dancing and patting you were asleep. I am so thankful for one of the best baby accessories ever!
After dinner I was able to put you to bed, but you woke again around 10pm and nothing helped to calm you. Well we ended up at the emergency department at 2am in the morning after I found a strange rash on your belly! This is one of those situations you fear as a parent. Not knowing what's wrong with your baby, you just feel so helpless. When we got to the hospital you started to perk up and ended up playing for the full 2.5 hours that we were waiting to see the doctor. The diagnosis was an ear infection and sore throat, probably viral, which also caused the rash.
Again I am very thankful that we are still breastfeeding and this was the only food you were really interested in for the next few days.
