Today we were invited along to the Taiwanese Lunar New Year Festival. It was a big affair, much bigger and more formal than I expected. They even gave the boys VIP name tags, which Timmy proudly wore ;-) The ladies at the reception were doting on the boys and filled their plates with lots of food. I was very proud that you sat quietly on the sofa for quite a while.
We then headed over to the big hall where we saw lots of presentations, dance and music.

ReplyDeleteYannick was mesmerized by this presentation. The music, the dancing, the ladies (who were quite old actually) he was just standing there and watching the performance. I think it was something he had never seen before (well as so many other things he would have never seen before) so he was just taking it all in....
